What to Expect

How care works, from first call to follow-up

All visits take place by secure telehealth video, for adults 18 and older anywhere in Pennsylvania.

Before your visit

A free 15-minute call. Prospective patients can book a complimentary call with Marianna to describe what’s going on, hear how we work, and decide whether it’s a good fit. This call is informational and doesn’t include medical advice.

Your intake questionnaire. Once you schedule, you’ll complete a detailed health history questionnaire from the Institute for Functional Medicine. It’s thorough on purpose. It brings out patterns a standard intake form never asks about.

Your 7-day food diary. You’ll track your diet, sleep, bowel habits, and physical activity for a week before your visit. It’s often one of the most revealing parts of the evaluation.

Your records. Send any recent lab results and medical records ahead of time so we can review them before your visit.

Your first consultation (60 or 90 minutes)

An in-depth evaluation of your health history, genetics, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and goals. We’ll go over your labs and records together and decide whether additional testing would help.

Your plan
You’ll receive a personalized integrative plan that addresses both mental and physical health. Depending on your needs, it may include:
•    Recommendations for additional lab testing
•    Medication management
•    Targeted supplements
•    Nutrition and lifestyle guidance
•    A schedule for follow-up visits and monitoring

Your plan is a starting point, not a final verdict. We adjust it as we learn how you respond.

After your first visit

If labs are ordered, you’ll visit a lab near you or use an at-home kit. We review the results together at a follow-up visit and update your plan. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes, and between visits you can reach us through the patient portal.

Cancellation and arrival policy

We deliberately limit the number of appointments each day so that we can spend real time with each patient. When an appointment goes unused on short notice, that time can’t be offered to anyone else — so we ask that you value our time as we value yours.

We require 72 business hours (3 business days) notice to cancel or reschedule. For a 10am Monday appointment, that means notifying us by 10am the previous Wednesday.

Cancellations inside that window are subject to:

  • $150 — new patient appointments

  • $100 — established patient appointments

  • Full amount — ancillary services
