Why we’re out-of-network
We’re an out-of-network practice with transparent, upfront pricing. That means longer appointments, direct communication with your provider, and care built around your needs rather than insurance time limits.
Every new patient intake includes a detailed health history and timeline, a symptom and lifestyle assessment, a clinical summary, and a preliminary plan covering labs, medications, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
All patients also get portal messaging with a response within 24 hours and the ability to schedule urgent appointments.
Weight management program
$95 per month, which includes monthly 20-minute follow-up visits and messaging with your provider through the Spruce app. Medications and labs are billed separately.
Lab testing
Functional lab testing is done through Vibrant Wellness and is not covered by insurance. We’ll discuss costs before ordering anything, and results are reviewed with you at a scheduled follow-up visit.
Insurance and reimbursement
We don’t accept insurance directly, but we partner with Reimbursify, which makes it easy to submit claims to your insurer. Many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network care once your deductible is met. We can talk through what to expect during your free call.
Questions to ask your insurer:
• Do I have out-of-network outpatient benefits?
• What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met?
• What percentage is reimbursed after the deductible?
• Is there a limit on visits per year?
• Do I need pre-authorization?
Cancellation policy
We limit the number of appointments each day so we can spend real time with every patient. When an appointment is cancelled late, that time can’t be offered to anyone else.
We require 3 business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule. For example, for a 10 am Monday appointment, please cancel by 10 am the Wednesday before. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged:
• $150 for new patient appointments
• $95 for existing patient appointments
• The full amount for additional services
